Adding Clients

Your Clients are the people you'll be providing services for while using Nookal, you may also refer to these people as Patients.

You can add Clients by heading to the "Clients" tab in your Nookal account, or while creating an appointment.

From the "Clients" tab, you'll want to start by entering a name in one of the search fields on the left hand side (this helps to prevent double ups). If the Client you've entered doesn't exist you can add them now, by clicking "Create Client" in the bottom right corner.

This will open up a new window where you can enter all the details for this particular client.

The required fields are: first name, last name and contact number (mobile, home or work).

There are a number of additional fields that you can also fill out now, these are:

  • Email address
  • Address
  • Nickname
  • Middle Name
  • Title
  • Gender
  • DOB
  • GP
  • Location - (The locations where you would like this client to be available from, default is "All Locations")
  • Notes

Check the "Subscribe" option next to email and/or mobile if you would like to send Email or SMS reminders to this Client.

After filling out these fields, click "Save" and you will now be able to add appointments, or set up cases for this Client.

Adding Clients from the Diary

If you need to make an appointment for a new Client, you'll need to add them first. You can do this by clicking the diary where you'd like to book them in, and typing their first or last name in the available fields. If they don't already exist in your account, you'll have the option to "Create Client".

Clicking on this will open up a modal window where you can add the details outlined above, and then proceed to making a booking.
