Clinical Note Fields

 Nookal enables you to create user-friendly Templates to save time while writing Clinical Notes.

 Heading 

  • Create section within your Clinical Template using Heading.
  • The Label is the heading.

Date / Time

  • Allows you to easily select a date and time to record information such as injury date, surgery date...
  • You can add Help/Info text to assist in knowing what information is in this field.

Chart

  • Draw and write on a Chart.
  • You can select the default Chart but you will be able to change it at the time of writing your note by any of the Chart available in your account. See Adding a Clinical Chart for more details on how to upload a Chart.
  • You can add Help/Info text to assist in knowing what information is in this field.

Text

  • Normal text field, snippets and symbols can be used to make write your note quicker.
  • You can write a default text that will be in the note if unchanged.
  • You can add Help/Info text to assist in knowing what information is in this field.
  • You can use the "Show mirrored" option to have 2 text boxes side by side.

Multiple Choices

  • Allows you to select one option out of the list you have created when writing Clinical Notes.
  • You can add many options to choose from.
  • Select an option to have it as a default.
  • You can add Help/Info text to assist in knowing what information is in this field.
  • You can use the "Show mirrored" option to have 2 column of choices side by side.

Checkboxes

  • Allows you to tick as many options as you want when writing your Clinical Notes.
  • You can add many options to choose from.
  • Select options to have them ticked as a default.
  • You can add Help/Info text to assist in knowing what information is in this field.
  • You can use the "Show mirrored" option to have 2 column of choices side by side.

Dropdown

  • Allows you to select one option out of the dropdown list you have created when writing Clinical Notes.
  • You can add many options to choose from.
  • You can select an option to be set as a default..
  • You can add Help/Info text to assist in knowing what information is in this field.
  • You can use the "Show mirrored" option to have dropdown lists side by side.

Numbers

  • Field restricted to numbers only.
  • You can set a minimum and a maximum to ensure accurate value.
  • You can set a default.
  • Numbers can be set by using the arrows on the side of the field when writing clinical notes.
  • You can add Help/Info text to assist in knowing what information is in this field.
  • You can use the "Show mirrored" option to have dropdown lists side by side.

Scale

  • You can slide a button on the scale to set a number.
  • We recommend setting a minimum and maximum value.
  • You can set a default value.
  • You can add Help/Info text to assist in knowing what information is in this field.
  • You can use the "Show mirrored" option to have dropdown lists side by side.
