Important!
To access Registration Forms, you must first enable the Template Builder via the Innovation Hub.
You can access this via Setup > Extensions > Advanced > Nookal's Innovation Hub > Configure.
From there find Customisable Client Forms in the list of upcoming features > Scroll to the right > Toggle to Enabled.
Our new Registration Forms allow your clients to register their details with you online before making a booking. The following article explains how to create a Registration Form and Generate a Link for you to embed that form onto your website.
Creating a New Registration Form
1. Navigate to Setup.
2. Click on Create Template under Extensions.
3. Click Create Template from the bottom-right of the page to start building templates.
4. Select Registration Form from the first drop-down.
5. Select the Locations from where the form should be available.
6. Select between the options to Create New Client or Send Notification.
- Create New Client will add a new Client to Nookal on form completion.
- Send Notification will require the information to be Reviewed and Accepted via your Notifications area before changes are saved in Nookal by clicking Accept, or rejected by clicking Reject.
7. Enter a Template Name to help you identify the form.
8. Click Save.
Building the Registration Form
1. To begin building the Registration Form, click on an Element from the right-side menu and Drag and Drop it onto the blank form. Continue adding Elements until your form includes all desired fields.
Important!
The Client Details and Contact Elements are mandatory for Registration Forms, as these Elements are needed for creating the Client Profile in Nookal.
2. Re-order Elements by clicking on the Up-Down arrow of an Element and then Drag and Drop where required.
3. To change the Visibility of a field on the form, click Customise on the right-side menu and expand the Element. Then toggle the slide next to the field from green (visible) to grey (not visible) or vice versa.
4. To select whether a field should be Required, click Customise on the right-side menu and expand the Element. Ensure the checkbox is ticked if the client is required to complete the field or unticked if the client is not required to complete the field.
5. To personalise the form's colour theme, click Colours on the right-side menu and select from the Default colour options in each drop-down menu.
Hot Tip
To select a colour that is not included in the Default list, click on the Circle icon and use the colour picker.
6. Add a Name to your custom theme and Save.
7. Use the Reset button to revert to the Default colour theme if required.
8. To Delete an Element from the form, click on the Bin icon.
9. Preview the form by clicking the Build toggle until it says Preview.
10. When you are happy with your changes or want to save your work and return to it later, click Save.
11. You will now see the list of current Enabled and Disabled Templates.
Embedding Registration Forms on your Website
After Building your Registration Form following the steps above, you will see the option for Website Link, allowing you to easily add the Registration Form to your website.
1. Navigate to Setup.
2. Click on Create Template under Extensions.
3. Click the Template name to Open it in editing mode.
4. Click the Website Link button.
5. Click the Copy Code button to copy the HTML code to your clipboard on your computer, so you can add it to your website.
6. Add the code to your website (you may need your web developer to do this for you). Once this is done your Clients will be able to access the Registration Form via a button on your website.
The client will need to complete a captcha, When the captcha is completed it will then show the Registration Form. The Client then completes the Registration Form and submits it.
Once the form is completed, they should receive a Success Notification saying it was completed successfully.
7. Once the Client has completed the form, there will be a notification in the diary. Click on the Notification Bubble to open the Notification panel. There will be a Notification called "Client Form Pending Approval" or "Client Form Completed".
8. Click on the Arrow to review the information.
9. Once reviewed, Approve Creation, or Deny the Client creation by Registration Form if the Form is set to Create New Client, or Dismiss the notification if the Form is set to Send Notification
When the Client completes an Registration Form, and the option to Create a New Client is selected, Nookal will save the Registration Form to the clients documents.
