Heidi now integrates with Nookal, meaning you can send your AI-generated clinical notes from Heidi straight into Nookal with just one click - it’s fast, simple, and saves you heaps of time.

Setting up Staff
Every practitioner that uses Heidi will need to be enabled for Integrations in their Staff profile.
1. Navigate to Setup.
2. Click Staff under Users.
3. Click on the name of the Staff Member.
4. Tick Enable Integrations on the right-side column.
5. Click Save Changes.
Setting up the Integration
1. Navigate to Setup.
2. Then click Integrations under Connections.
3. Enable Heidi from the list of available integrations and click Configure.
4. Copy the API Key from this page.
Hot Tips
If you can't access the Heidi integration page in Nookal to copy the API key, you will need to request the Heidi API Key from an Account Owner.
5. Login to Heidi and navigate to Settings > EMR Integrations.
6. Click on Nookal.
7. Click on Set up integration.
8. Paste in the API Key you copied from Nookal and add in your First Name and Last Name exactly as they appear on your Nookal login.
9. Click Find User.
10. Click Connect Integration.
11. If successful, you will see the below screen. If you don't see this screen, please contact Heidi Support.
Using the Integration
Important!
Current functionality allows for sending Clinical Notes to Nookal. The ability to add Letters will be available in a future update. For more information on this please contact Heidi Support.
1. In Nookal, add an appointment into the Diary.
2. In Heidi, the Client will be synced across automatically. Create your notes in Heidi as normal.

To load patients from a different date, click the Calendar icon to select your desired date. Patients for that day will then be imported automatically.
3. When you have completed your notes, click Push to Nookal.
4. When the push is complete, a Notes Successfully Pushed message will appear.
5. In Nookal, the Note will appear in your Clients > Clinical Notes > History section.
