This article will show you how to connect your Tyro terminal to Nookal's built-in Tyro Health EFTPOS integration.
This integration will help to save time and minimise errors when processing payments for your clients as the payment amounts are automatically sent to the terminal. This integration ensures a speedy invoicing process and minimises the risk of errors so that daily banking reconciles correctly between your Tyro Health EFTPOS and Nookal.
Additionally, with the multi-merchant functionality, it is possible to add the bank accounts for every provider, eliminating the need for having multiple physical terminals and reducing the chance of billing to the wrong provider's bank account.
Connecting Nookal with Tyro Health EFTPOS
1. Head to Setup.
2. Click Integrations under Connections.
3. Enable Tyro Health EFTPOS from the list of available integrations and click Configure.
4. This will take you to the Tyro Health EFTPOS page, where you can click Add Terminal.
5. Add the Merchant ID provided by Tyro upon registration and enter a Name to identify the account.
6. Add the Terminal ID found on the machine and the Terminal Name to identify it.
7. Select for which Locations the terminal will be used.
8. The HealthPoint feature is enabled by default to allow Private Health claims.
9. Click Add.
After completing the steps above, Tyro Health EFTPOS will be automatically enabled in the account.
It's a good idea to...
Once Tyro Health EFTPOS is enabled, go to Practice > Setup > Services / Classes and tick the Healthpoint option to enable claiming private health for these items.
Important!
Each time a new terminal is added, it will be assigned a unique integration key. As this key is used to link a particular Tyro Health EFTPOS machine, quote the key number to the Tyro Health support team in the event that troubleshooting is required. Tyro Health can be contacted 24/7 at their support hotline: 1300 966 639.
