In Nookal, you can add ICD-10 Codes to your Services, which can then be applied to any Invoices generated for those Services.
Enabling ICD-10 Codes
1. Navigate to Setup.
2. In Extensions, head to Advanced.
3. Toggle on ICD-10.
Adding ICD-10 Codes to Services
After you have enabled ICD-10 in the Advanced section, you can add them to Services.
Before you start...
If you haven't done so already, you will need to Create Services before adding their respective ICD-10 Codes.
1. Go to Setup.
2. Click Services under Items.
3. Click on a Service name.
4. Scroll down to ICD-10 and click Add New.
5. Add the ICD-10 Code and click Next.
6. Add the Description and click Next.
7. Review that the added ICD-10 Code is correct, or add another Code by repeating steps 4-6.
8. Click Save Changes.
Applying ICD-10 Codes to Invoices
Now that you have enabled ICD-10 Codes and added them to your Service, follow the steps below to apply them when Invoicing.
1. Generate an Invoice for that Service.
2. On the line item for that Service select the ICD-10 Code from the drop-down.
3. Make any other required updates to the Invoice and click Save Invoice.
Emailing or Printing the Invoice will display the added ICD-10 Code, which will now also apply to any digital claims requiring an ICD-10 Code.
