Before you start!
1. Create NDIS Templates to save time and streamline the process.
2. All steps in Sending NDIS Plans and Quotes must be complete prior to Approving Budgets.
Once all approvals are complete for and NDIS Plan and Quote, you can Approve the Budget directly from the individual Plan, from the Client's View Plans page or through bulk approval using the Third Party report.
Approving a Budget from an Individual Plan
5. Click the green tick to Confirm the Budget Approval.
6. The amount will be allocated to the Budget in the relevant categories according to the NDIS settings. Once this is done, the budget can’t be manually edited and can only be increased through additional quotes.
Hot Tips
If the plan’s start date is in the future, you can choose to Auto-Approve the Budget.
When selected, the plan and quote status will be set to Pending and will be automatically approved and added to the payer’s budget on the start date.

3. Find the Plan with the Approve Budget status and click the Approve Budget button.
4. Click the green tick to Confirm the Budget Approval.

Approving Budgets in Bulk from the Third Party Report
Bulk approve budgets for NDIS Plans and Quotes easily with the Third Party report tool. You can also use this tool to manage all client plans and quotes across all locations.
1. Navigate to Manage.
2. Under Administration click Third Party.
3. Choose to filter by Location, Status and Date and click Generate. The Date filter uses the Start Date of the Plan.
4. Plans with the Approve Budget status include a checkbox in their table row. Select the checkboxes for each plan you'd like to approve the Budget for.
5. An Approve Budget for Selected button will appear at the top of the report, showing the total amount for the selected plans. After clicking the button, you’ll need to confirm the approval in the popup that appears.
6. Click the Tick button to confirm the Budget Approval.
