JAN Insights uses AI to highlight useful trends and insights from your Dashboard metrics, giving you a quick view of what’s happening across your practice.
Before you start...
JAN Insights is part of the AI + Voice add-on which can be enabled via Account > Billing > Add-ons.

Enabling JAN Insights on the Dashboard
Important!
Permission to View JAN insights on the Dashboard is required to enable this feature. See our guide with further information on Understanding Widget Availability.
1. Navigate to the Dashboard
2. Click the Pencil icon to edit the widgets shown on the Dashboard
3. Click the Widgets button to see a list of available widgets
4. Toggle the JAN Insights widget on
5. Click the Save button to save the changes
Using JAN Insights on the Dashboard
Based on the active metrics on your Dashboard, JAN Insights uses AI to highlight key trends and insights from your data.
1. Navigate to the Dashboard
2. Adjust the date range using the date range selector in the top right corner of the Dashboard
3. Click the Pencil icon to edit the widgets shown on the Dashboard
4. Click the Widgets button to see a list of available widgets
5. Enable and disable the widgets on the Dashboard to determine which metrics are included in the insights
6. Click the Save button to save the changes
7. The JAN Insights widget will update based on the date range and metrics selected
