If there are practitioners in training or students in the practice that requires Clinical Notes to be reviewed or finalised by a different user than the user writing them, follow the steps below to set this up.
Enabling Clinical Supervisor Role
1. Head to Setup.
2. Click on Advanced under Extensions.
3. Enable the Clinical Supervisor Roles.
Setting up the Appropriate Permissions
1. Head to Setup.
2. Click Permissions under Users.
3. If a Supervisor Permission Group is not already created, click Create New Group to create it.
4. In the Clinical Notes section of the Supervisor, set Other Provider's Drafts to Edit.
Important!
Make sure you set all the other Permissions appropriately so the Supervisors has access to all the other section of Nookal such as the Diary, Clients section, etc.
5. If a Student Permission Group is not already created, click Create New Group to create it.
6. In the Clinical Notes section of the Student, set the Clinical Notes option to Edit and disabled access to all the other option of the Clinical Note section.
Important!
Make sure you set all the other Permissions appropriately so the Student has access to all the other section of Nookal they need such as the Diary, Clients section, etc.
7. Once the Permissions have been set appropriately, click Save Changes.
Changing Permission Group for Users
If Supervisors and Students Permission group were created, these users will need to be attributed to these Permission group by following the steps below.
1. In the Setup section, click Staff under Users.
2. Open each student and supervisor's page to select the appropriate Permission Group.
3. Click Save Changes.
Hot Tips
Each user being changed Permission group will need to log out and log back into Nookal to see the changes.
