When hovering over an Appointment, the Last Modified section is a useful tool to capture when the last change to the Appointment was made and which User made the change.
This article explains which actions update the Last Modified section.
Updates to Username and Date
Where there has been a direct change to the Appointment, both the Username and the Date will be updated. This includes things that most people need quick access to from the Appointment, for example:
- Confirming or Moving Appointments
- Setting the Appointment status (Confirm, DNA, Cancel etc)
- Updating the Appointment Notes
- Generating an Invoice from the Appointment
Updates to Date Only
Some system actions will leave the Last Modified name but update the date to indicate that something in the appointment has changed due to action elsewhere. This will include things like:
- Changing a Payer on the Invoice
- Updating a Service name in the Service setup that then flows through to the Appointment
- Merging Clients
