Nookal's Medicare and DVA 2.0 integration allows you to submit Medicare and DVA claims easily and securely. The integration includes multiple new service types for claiming, along with the option to implement the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) within each client's profile.
To set up the Medicare and DVA Claiming 2.0 integration, please follow the steps below, which link out to specific articles for detailed instructions.
If you have never made a Medicare/DVA claim through Nookal before, this option should be available by default.
If you have made Medicare/DVA claims through Nookal before, this option will not yet be available. Contact support@nookal.com for more information.
1. Set up Online Claiming
First, to set up Medicare/DVA Online Claiming integration:
1. Set up your Claiming Group/s and Add Providers via Setup > Connections > Integrations > Medicare/DVA Online Claiming
2. Activate your Claiming Locations
3. Select your Claiming Settings, such as Claim Types and Service Types

2. Set up your B2B Device

4. Reporting on Medicare and DVA Claims
Use the Medicare Report to keep track of all claims and their statuses.
1. Go to Reports > Financials > Medicare.
2. Select the Filters required and click Generate.
3. The report generated can be printed, emailed or exported as a spreadsheet (CSV file) as relevant.
