1. Enabling the Patient Portal
Enable the Patient Portal via Setup > Accounts > Billing > Add-ons.
2. Configuring the Patient Portal Settings
The next step is to configure the settings for the Patient Portal, including which Locations are available.
1. Configure the Patient Portal Settings via Setup > Account > Billing > Add-ons > Patient Portal > Edit Patient Portal settings.
2. Generate a link to the Patient Portal, confirm whether Multi-factor Authentication is sent via Email or SMS and set the Minimum Cancellation time.
3. Enable or disable Locations as required. Patients will only have access to Active Locations in the Patient Portal.

3. Creating a Patient Portal Template & Enabling Payments
The Patient Portal Template determines what Patients will have access to when they log into the Patient Portal.
1. Create a template via Setup > Extensions > Create Template > Select the Patient Portal option in the Template Builder dropdown.
2. Click the Spanner icon and enable/disable the different Elements as required.
Hot Tip
You will need a Stripe Connect account to use credit card payment and storage through the Patient Portal.
To activate this head along to Setup > Connections > Integrations > Stripe > Configure.

4. Giving Patients access to the Patient Portal
You can give Patients access to the Patient Portal by sending them a sign-up link to create a password and log in.
