Sometimes Clients need adjusted duties or time off work in order to recover, you can now Generate Medical Certificates for your ACC Clients from within Nookal.
Before you Start!
You will need to have Setup an ACC Case and have a New Claim showing an Approved Status before you can Generate a Medical Certificate.
How to Generate a Medical Certificate
1. Head into the Clients Profile, by Searching for the Client and clicking on their Name.
2. Click on Cases from the left hand menu, and select the relevant Case.
3. Under the ACC Payer click on the Claim the Medical Certificate relates to.
4. Select the Medical Certificate button at the bottom of the Claim.
5. The Vendor, Provider, and ACC45# will autopopulate from the Claim, along with any Incapacities. Select the + Button under Incapacity to add an Incapacity to the Medical Certificate.
6. Select the Date Range the Medical Certificate is valid for.
7. Then select the Incapacity Type from the dropdown menu.
If the Incapacity Type is Fit for Selected Work you will have further fields to complete: Alternate Duties, Restrictions, and Hours of Work.
8. Add any Comments into the final field. Then select Add Diagnosis.
9. A Patient Declaration will be displayed. Click Agree to Proceed, or Cancel to Return.
10. You will then be shown a Provider Declaration with the same options. Click Agree to Proceed, or Cancel to Return.
11. Confirm Submission of the Medical Certificate by selecting Submit.
12. A window will advise ACC Received the Submission. Select Continue.
13. Two versions of the Medical Certificate will be available - ACC/Employee, and Employer. Select the Version you'd like to Print.
14. The Medical Certificate will be displayed, the version is in the top left corner. Select the Print button to Print the Certificate.

A Record of the Medical Certificate Submission will be captured in the ACC Log on the Client's Profile
